Bag count rounds purchase volume up to whole bags.
Worked example
An 8-by-4-foot bed at a 3-inch depth uses 8 cubic feet before extra material.
Assumptions
- Mulch is applied to a consistent depth over a rectangular area.
Limitations
- Plant stems, slopes, paths, settling, and material density change the practical amount.
